Interesting study on how the economy is affecting wedding planning. Most of the studies I've read deal with how couples are altering their day - DJ's instead of bands, Day-of wedding coordinators instead of full wedding planners, bargain basement gowns instead of pricey designer lines.... etc. I also read a post yesterday that said a lot of couples are moving to Thursdays instead of the traditional Saturday wedding - a big saver. This is the first study I've seen that looks at postponement as a money solution. Thanks for sharing!

That's interesting. It's really too bad that the economy is affecting wedding plans, but it looks like most people are forging ahead. We have found that our simple wedding dresses (most under $1200, but still all silk) are receiving a great response recently. Maybe this is why???
