While I’m still recovering from my whirlwind speaker circuit I’m off to my old high school, Strathcona Tweedsmuir School to speak again. This time the presentation is much shorter but just as important. I’m speaking to grade 11 students about choosing a career as an entrepreneur.

You see, they’re all asking themselves, “What do I want to be when I grow up?”

When you’re trying to decide what you want to do with your life and how you want to invest your time it’s important to hear from experts who have gone through experiences in that field or endeavor. They can shed some light on what you can expect. It’s even better when they can tell you what to avoid and what to concentrate on… you can save yourself a lot of costly mistakes.

(Believe me I wish I’d had someone tell me, hey kid, don’t take that computer programming university class, can’t you see you were meant to be a wedding planner?)
